Intangible property is an important income generator for many multinational enterprises (MNE), so the OECD consultation with business on the transfer pricing aspects of intangibles was well attended. But, not all taxpayers were in agreement on the issues.
Working Party No 6 (WP6), responsible for carrying out the project, has been given a long list of considerations by companies, which they must process before releasing draft guidelines on the issue in March 2012.
