A Canadian taxpayer has made an advance pricing agreement (APA) request to the Mexican tax authorities and has made an unusual amount of information public.
Primero, a Canadian mining company, has made a formal APA application, which, if successful, would enable the company to pay income taxes based on realised, rather than spot [market price], revenue, a BMO Capital Markets Flash report said.
