Positive vibes surrounding APAs in the UK

A panel of experts at International Tax Review’s 11th annual Transfer Pricing Forum said there is a lot of positivity around the advance pricing agreement (APA) programme in the UK, and complimented the UK tax authorities for their commitment to the programme.
Diane Hay, special adviser on international tax for PwC, told delegates there has been an increase in the number of applications for APAs, which in the UK will only be used for complex cross-border dispute resolution issues.
