Krister Andersson, chairman of the tax policy group at Business Europe, opened the second day of International Tax Review’s 11th annual Transfer Pricing Forum with an overview of the changes to the tax landscape and how this is affecting the business community.
Andersson focused on taxation rights and said transfer pricing plays a major part in this. “We would like to see free trade, economic development and erasing borders. Tax is just a subject of trade policy that’s the whole purpose. We should not erect trade borders. Sometimes revenue authorities and even governments forget that.”
