Italian tax authorities look more closely at PEs

The operating methods of multinationals across the world are under greater scrutiny from tax authorities. In particular, transfer pricing and permanent establishment (PE) are more closely monitored.
In France, for instance, the tax authorities are carrying out raids on company premises to prove the existence of PEs.
