Philippines steps up audit pressure

Philippine government sources indicated this week that the Bureau of Customs (BOC) is profiling vehicle imports from a number of other companies which have been allegedly undervalued.
Newspaper reports suggest that Hyundai is subject to particular scrutiny, however advisers believe many companies across a range of industries may be in line for audits.
