Christian Aid responds to attack

Alex Cobham, chief policy adviser at Christian Aid, responds to comments in a recent report criticising the charity’s research into transfer mis-pricing.
A couple of weeks ago I was in rural Kenya, visiting a community whose access to water and resilience to climate change had dramatically improved. They had combined their expertise, organisation and hard work with financial support from a partner funded by Christian Aid and the Jersey Overseas Aid Commission (JOAC). I was just learning about the pebble-filled, underwater mast which filters water from the new reservoir into drinkable quality, when my mobile phone went off - to say that Jersey Finance had launched an attack on Christian Aids tax campaign.
