Taxpayers in South America should expect greater scrutiny from the transfer pricing authorities in 2010, says a leading adviser.
Matias Pedevilla, partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers US transfer pricing practice, believes 2009 has heralded a shift in the tactics taken by the authorities and taxpayers need to be aware of how they can avoid being audited.
