How to deal with tax authorities in transfer pricing disputes

An expert panel at International Tax Review’s Global TP Forum in September will look at the best way to handle tax controversy and alternatives to litigation.

Tax authorities are aggressively seeking to increase their revenues through scrutiny of transfer pricing arrangements. This has led to more tax litigation.

Marc Levey, chair of Baker & McKenzie’s global transfer pricing steering committee, will moderate the panel, which will discuss how tax controversies are resolved in each jurisdiction and what local nuances and strategies the taxpayer should be aware of.
