Australian official warns large companies about related-party transactions

Taxpayers using transfer pricing to avoid paying tax could have a serious effect on Australia’s tax base, warns the country’s deputy commissioner of taxation.
Speaking at a conference in Sydney earlier this month, Jim Killaly said the Australian Tax Office will strive to ensure big businesses are implementing transfer pricing and other tax rules properly.
