Polish authorities step up scrutiny of related party documents in transfer pricing sweep
The Polish tax authorities are increasing their demands for transfer pricing documents in tax audits. The requests to companies are part of a new drive by the tax authorities to scrutinise related party transactions. Jacek Bajger, of KPMG in Warsaw, says that transfer pricing issues are under intense scrutiny in Poland.The customs authorities have been conducting what they describe as a thorough analysis of transactions between related parties.
